HVAC PROJECT SUPERVISOR (CAPE TOWN)
| Introduction And Role Context | SFI Group (Pty) Ltd, a national air-conditioning and maintenance company seeks to employ an experienced, HVAC Project Supervisor who will be responsible for the successful coordination of projects and service of HVAC systems. In addition, the HVAC Project Supervisor will ensure that projects are delivered upon the agreed level of service to clients whilst managing a team of staff, contractors and administration responsibilities. |
| Duties/responsibilities | Project Estimating Estimates cost for repairs, replacement, and installation of large and small mechanical HVAC equipment for heating, cooling, air moving, pumping, building automation, and plumbing; projects future repairs and department equipment needs for the budget process. Attend to site surveys & tender briefingEstimates cost for Project TI’s, repairs, replacement, and installation of large and small mechanical HVAC equipment for heating, cooling, air moving, pumping, building automation, and plumbing; projects future repairs and department equipment needs for the budget process. Project Oversight and Control Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from the definition phase through implementation. Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients. Manages technical resources within budget and estimated schedule. Coordinate the work between the internal team and outside contractors. Plans supervise and monitor the work of the project team. Inspects and evaluates the condition of mechanical equipment in existing buildings and recommends corrective action People Management and Control Coaching and Mentoring of Junior StaffSupervises, trains, and evaluates assigned staff. Provide coaching to HVAC and Commissioning teams in procedures and usage of equipment and systems. Customer Service Management Communicates and enforces service standards as per SLA’s. Performs period quality reviewsAttend periodic and scheduled customer meetings. Ensures consistent delivery of high-quality services to our client’s Compliance and Reporting Observe, comply, and enforce company standards, procedures and compliance standards meet and complete regulatory Health and Safety compliance audits and standards. Submit monthly project reports to internal and external stakeholders attend weekly Project Team meetings |
| Required Qualification and experience | 5 – 10 years HVAC Industry experience 3 – 5 years experience in the HVAC construction arena Evidence of Project Supervision and oversight experience adhering to Service Level Agreements Driver’s LicenseMatric/Grade 12 or equivalent project Management Certificate or Programme Red Seal Electrical / HVAC Trade QualificationValid Gas License |
